lessr is a consumer credit platform offering a credit card backed by the cash value of a permanent life insurance policy. The phase 1 product is collateralized by whole life. Phase 2 extends to universal life and indexed universal life through a sponsor bank.
Information on the site is illustrative until you submit your specific carrier and policy details, at which point we surface your actual rate.
Eligibility
- You must be 18 or older.
- You must be a US resident. State licenses are pending; specific state availability is listed at launch.
- You must own a permanent life insurance policy with sufficient cash value. We confirm the specifics during the inquiry process.
The calculator and illustrative information
The savings calculator and all rate examples are illustrative. They use typical-range numbers and do not constitute a loan offer. Your actual rate depends on your carrier, policy type, cash value, and other factors we verify during the inquiry process.
